Synopsis
‘What did you do during the war?’ asked Ghanem to friends, family and neighbors. Filmed in black and white in gorgeous close-up shots, they answer, until the grandfather replies by asking “Which of the wars?”, throwing back to Lebanon’s recent history of turbulence, aggression and civil conflicts.

Filmmaker's Biography
Nadine Ghanem graduated with a degree in Audiovisual and Cinema Studies from the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts (ALBA). Her short film, Yasmine, received Special Mention from the Jury at the Unimovie Festival I, Pescara, Italy in 2004. Other videos include Feet (2005), and Ceci est un autoportrait (2004).
